First Assembly of God (dba Phenix City First) in Phenix City, AL, seeks a Executive/Hispanic Campus Pastor to:
- Lead development and growth of a multicultural faith community within the church with a focus on Spanish-speaking individuals and families.
- Build and grow a faith community among English and Spanish-speaking individuals.
- Launch outreach ministries in local Hispanic communities.
- Recruit and train volunteer leaders and ministry teams.
- Teach Bible studies and preach in culturally relevant ways.
- Educate and bridge cultural understanding within the congregation.
- Oversee Hispanic/Latino worship services, small groups, and pastoral care.
- Lead assimilation and discipleship of Spanish-speaking newcomers.
- Manage church social media and multimedia communications.
- Implement church technology and digital outreach strategies.
- Provide pastoral services including weddings, funerals, counseling, baptisms, and child dedications.
- Lead discipleship for students and young adults.
The applicant is required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject plus 3 years of experience as a pastor or similar ministry leadership position.
The applicant is also required to have the following:
- Credentialed Minister with any Assemblies of God denomination anywhere in the world (Licensed or Ordained).
- 3 years experience in budgeting, financial planning, and stewardship.
- 3 years experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), creating digital outreach strategies, and using church management software (Planning Center, ProPresenter, etc.).
Travel every other month within Alabama for 2 to 5 days at a time. Purpose of travel is for Network meetings and/or events which would include retreats, conventions, camps & missions outreach.
